Join us Saturday, August 29, 2026, as we celebrate 50 years of serving our community—and give back to the people who made it all possible.

For one day only, Jerry's Pizza will transform into a family-friendly community picnic filled with live music, games, food trucks, contests, raffles, kids' activities, and plenty of pizza.

JERRY’S PIZZA CELEBRATION AND FUNDRAISER
August 29, 2026
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
at Jerry's Pizza • Canton, Texas
Festivities will be held outside and include: 18’ Water Slide, Ax Throwing, Sack Races, Pizza Frisbee Challenge, Pony Rides, Pizza Eating Contest, Box Folding Contest, Tomato Toss, Pin the Tail, Live Music and so much more.

Admission and activities are free, with food and concessions available for purchase. Proceeds from the event will support local Education Foundations and Parent-Teacher Organizations throughout VZC.

We are expecting heat, but will have as much shade as we can manufacture!

Jerry’s full menu will only be available inside the restaurant.
Please note: Jerry’s will be open during the event for dine-in and we will close at 6:00 pm so that our employees can enjoy a private celebration.

Restrooms and handwashing stations will be available. Event parking in the former Car Wash.

 
 

Why We're Celebrating

In 1976, Jerry and Jo Ann Priest opened Jerry's Pizza with one simple goal: serve great pizza and treat people like family.

Fifty years later, we're still here because of the people who have walked through our doors, celebrated life's milestones with us, and made Jerry's part of their own family traditions.

This celebration is our way of saying thank you.

  • The lot in front of the restaurant will be reserved for dine-in customers only. Event parking will be next door in the former Car Wash lot. We are still working on details for overflow and will post updates here as the date draws near.
